Who We Are
Dr. A. Joseph Friedmann, Ph.D., has been helping those with stroke and brain injury for more than a decade. In particular, he works with patients who have reached the end of their traditional therapy and training but still want to progress and get better.
Dr. Friedmann has created a unique training process based on neurodevelopmental training seen in children. The idea was simple, don’t treat the patient as an injured adult, but as an uninjured child. We all still learn movement the same way, injured or not.
His research showed promising results and was hailed by one neurologist as “a service to humanity.” Dr. Friedmann continues to help patients and their families learn how to adapt to post-stroke life while becoming as healthy and active as possible.
