Individual and Group Services

What we offer

Remote Training

If you are not in our service area, remote video sessions and training can be arranged. Sessions usually last about 50 minutes and require a reliable internet connection and web camera.

Individual Training

Dr. Friedmann provides one-on-one training for those needing neurorehabilitative therapies. These sessions involve everything from balance and body awareness to reintegration of brain and body. Sessions are progressive and can be started at any phase of the healing process.

Most training is designed for those who are in the “chronic” phase of recovery, that is, after traditional outpatient therapies have ceased. While many practitioners will stop here and inform patients they have reached their maximum recovery, Dr. Friedmann has shown patients can continue to recover even decades after their injuries.

Sessions last 45-50 minutes and are usually performed twice weekly for the first two-to-three months, followed by weekly sessions.

Group Training

Group sessions can be set up for small groups - eight or less - who are in relatively similar stages of recovery. Group sessions work best when there can be non-affected partners such as spouses to help with the program.

Group sessions can be set up for a maximum of two sessions per day for no more than two days in a row.

Consulting

Consulting is arranged on a case-by-case basis. Please use the contact page to send information and arrange a call.

RESULTS

“Thanks to Dr. Friedmann I have a life. I can drive again, work, and support my family instead of being a drain on my family.”
— Mr. A: Patient for 5 years

Dr. Friedmann is blazing new trails in stroke rehabilitation by utilizing innovative and novel techniques to help the brain heal.  His vast knowledge and depth of hands-on experience has tremendously helped in my recovery.  When recovering from a stroke or traumatic brain injury, no two cases are the same and he fully realizes that.  He assesses and develops highly specific rehabilitation programs to help the individual instead of painting all patients with a broad brush.  His knowledge of anatomy, physiology and neurology allowed him to help me in my recovery like no one else has.  Further, upon working with Dr. Friedmann it quickly became apparent that he has a true passion for helping stroke patients recover and helping them achieve their specific goals
